REWILD | A Field of Remembering
Sayulita, Mexico
February 6-13, 2027
with Joanna Benevides & Leigh Alberti
Each year, we gather on this land.
Some of us arrive for the first time, and yet something in us already knows the way. And some of us return ~ not to repeat something familiar, but to step back into what continues to unfold.
Year after year, we are reminded that REWILD is not a retreat that begins or ends in the usual sense. It is a living field of remembering ~ an invitation to recognize our place within the greater web of life, the natural rhythms and cycles that shape us, and the relationships that hold us.
Fully immersed in nature, we gather in relationship with the elements ~ Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether ~ not as things outside of us, but as forces that move through life and through us.
Through healing arts and earth-based practices ~ including embodied yoga, meditation, breath work, sound, creative expression, and ceremony ~ we move with and through the elements, creating space for reflection, connection, and lived experience.
Nothing is forced. Everything is invited.
There is both guidance and structure, and a deep spaciousness woven throughout each day. Space to be with yourself. Space to be with one another. Space for conversation, laughter, nourishment, reflection, and what naturally arises when there is room to settle and simply be.
Much of what is found here cannot be fully captured in words. It is known through experience ~ through the land, the practices, the people, and the time shared together.
Over the years, walls soften, hearts open, and a deeper sense of belonging emerges. Something awakens ~ both individually and collectively.
In the closeness of nature and community, many find themselves touched by a quiet knowing ~ a renewed intimacy with life itself and a sense of belonging the tapestry of existence.
Maybe this is why some return year after year, and why those arriving for the first time often feel as though they have somehow known this place before.
REWILD continues as a space of remembering.

It is located in the breathtaking coastal Riviera Nayarit, nestled above the Pacific Ocean on 12 private acres of tropical jungle, overlooking the mountains, with a private & pristine beach. This secluded and intimate seaside yoga resort offers the most exquisite + powerful coexistence with nature. Haramara is a place to disconnect from the noise, and be nourished and fully wrapped up by the beauty of the natural world.
You instantly feel the deep held wisdom of the land the moment you arrive.

It symbolizes the cycle of death and rebirth, the shedding of old skin, the embracing of our shadow and light, and the experience of being One with Spirit.
